Welcome to the Allport Hawks Junior Football Club
Official Web
site!
We are a voluntary organisation dedicated in providing a platform and base in which the children of the local communities can come together and get involved in the most popular and entertaining sport in the U.K. (Football/Soccer).
We are proud of the fact that not only do our children learn and develop their footballing skills, they also learn about teamwork, commitment, healthy living and most important of all - what it takes to be a good person and a valuable member of the community!
Allport Hawks was formed in 1974 when parents of the local communities in the
Eastham and Bromborough districts of the Wirral
peninsula, in Merseyside, decided that it would be a good idea for their children to join the Eastham Junior Football League after finishing Cub Scout football. The name of the club originated from the road which divides the two districts from which the children came from,
Allport Road. The Hawks is because the teams intended to swoop for points!
Over the years our teams have been very successful and a reputation for sportsmanship and hard work has been well established. The players and officials of the club may have changed over the decades, as well as the origin of the players (now coming from all over the
Wirral, Cheshire and Merseyside) but the current members who
re- launched the club as a Junior Football Club in 1996, owe a debt of gratitude and appreciation to the many people who have helped the club over the years and for whom
Allport Hawks JFC, still has a special place in their hearts.
Thank you!
