The club has many aims to develop itself as fulcrum for junior football in
the South Wirral area. The club is striving towards achieving the Football
Associations Charter Standard Award and has began by getting coaches to qualify
for their level 1 Coaching Certificates. We hope to one day have our own
clubhouse, pitches and transport. But one step as a time!
We appreciate the support of the players, parents and relatives as well as
local business, which helps to keep the club moving forward. We will continue to
provide football for the young people of our community, as a minimum, but
hopefully we can build a club that can provide a focal point for sport and
health and community spirit for the generations to come.

GOALKEEPER
COACHING SESSIONS
Eric Nixon who was a professional goalkeeper for
over 15 years, and now a qualified coach and businessman (Blue monkey Car Wash))
has been kindly passing on his knowledge and experience to the boys and girls of
Allport Hawks Junior Football Club. Eric who has played for Tranmere Rovers,
Curzon Ashton, Manchester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers (on loan), Bradford City
(on loan), Southampton (on loan), Carlisle United (on loan), gave coaching
sessions on weekly basis to our players at the Octel Social Club. ‘Big Eric’
gave his time for free and turned our young hawks into starstruck fans, and
hopefully, better keepers!

Thanks to Eric and his colleagues.
